I use several strategies to improve properties including: subdividing, re-tenanting, repositioning, rezoning, clearing title issues, financing and/or making physical improvements.

Help property owners sell at a good price with minimal hassle

I don't do the "if you're desperate to sell your property for cash today, I'll give you a fraction of its value" thing.

Because I have unique skills and connections, I am able to increase property values. This allows me to buy properties without hammering sellers on price. I make the selling process easy and hassle free.

Help lenders/investors earn a good risk adjusted return

I invest in my deals because I know I can create value on the properties I buy. Occasionally, I will allow others to participate in my deals.

Lenders in my deals enjoy passive income, regular cash flow, high returns, low minimum investment amounts, the ability to review each deal before committing, diversification, no fees (no management fees, no transaction or deal fees, no financing fees, no performance fees, etc.), and a first lien on the property (the most secure position in real estate).

Partners in my deals are be able to enjoy high potential upside and to review each deal before committing. Each partner deal is unique and will have unique terms.

  • Entrepreneurial Experience - As a principal I have participated in over 200 real estate transactions across wide range of assets types. I have:

    • Purchased thousands of acres of land

    • Executed subdivides from start to finish

    • Purchased and managed single family rentals

    • Completed deals requiring curative title work

  • Job Experience - As a Vice President for PIMCO's Real Estate Private Equity business, I

    • Reviewed commercial loans for office, multifamily, and retail investments

    • Led negotiations and closed over $400mm in financing transactions on fund assets

    • Negotiated and managed over $2.5b in revolving funding

  • Education - Bachelor's from BYU, MBA from Harvard Business School

  • When I am not obsessing over real estate, I enjoy family time, traveling and barbeque.
